Slag Plant

Whether the particle size of the Slag Plant is qualified or not directly affects the subsequent mineral processing operations.

The pass or fail of the Slag Plant directly affects the subsequent beneficiation operation. The size of the Slag Plant feed size has a great influence on the grinding process. Therefore, the feed size should be controlled within the allowable range of the Slag Plant, otherwise it will not cause unnecessary wear on the Slag Plant, and the finished pellets will be difficult to meet the production requirements.

First, the impact of the feed:

1. The feed size is small. The smaller the particle size of the ore, the shorter the time required to grind to the specified fineness, the higher the processing capacity of the Slag Plant, and the lower the energy consumption per unit of grinding. Reducing the material pull of the feed to the Slag Plant can improve the efficiency of the Slag Plant, increase production, and reduce power consumption.

2. The feed size is too large. If the feed size is too large, the load of the Slag Plant will increase, and material clogging will occur. The longer the grinding time required to grind the material to the specified fineness, the greater the wear of the mill, the productivity of the mill.

Therefore, within a certain range, reducing the ore size will play a significant role in improving the productivity of the mill.

Second, how to properly control the feeding granularity

1. It is necessary to screen before entering the mill. According to the technical parameters of the Slag Plant, it is better to do a screening work before entering the equipment, so that the materials that meet the machine requirements are discharged.

2. Install the feeder. The feeder is installed at the top of the Slag Plant, and its function is to transfer materials to ensure that the speed of the material enters the Slag Plant is uniform and reasonable. Feed speed can be controlled by buttons. There is no such phenomenon that the material is clogged or the feed size is too large due to uneven feeding.

Third, the optimal feed granularity

Usually, the feed crusher of the Slag Plant is between &20;≤ 25mm, which is the optimum feed granularity of the equipment. Generally, the feed mill size of the Slag Plant is less than 25mm, and the gypsum particle size can be appropriately relaxed. Therefore, the appropriate feed size should be determined according to the specifications of the Slag Plant and the performance of the equipment.
